Cooperative Hall of Fame Honors 2026 Inductees
South Dakota's cooperative community gathered in early August to recognize, celebrate, and thank four key leaders during the Cooperative Hall of Fame Induction Banquet.
Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor that the cooperative community bestows on those who have made significant contributions to the state. Their leadership, integrity, and personal commitment have served not only cooperatives, but also their local communities, the state, our region, and the nation.
This year’s inductees are:
Jeff Lakner, Wessington, SD – nominated by Agtegra Cooperative, with support from Dakota Resources, Land O'Lakes, and the President of South Dakota State University.
Todd Oster, Gettysburg, SD – nominated by CHS River Plains, with support from REH Farms, Agwrx Cooperative, and Mallett Enterprises.
Ken Schlimgen, Mitchell, SD – nominated by Central Electric Cooperative, with support from Charles Mix Electric Association, the President of Mitchell Technical College, and East River Electric Cooperative.
